





About the Conference
This is an international conference hosted by Samtse College of Education in collaboration with Council for Educational Administratio and Management, supported by Vidya Sagar College of Education, Balughat B.Ed Colege, and Naxalbari College of Education, West Bengal will take place on 4th and 5th September 2026.
The conference aims to discuss emerging issues, challenges, and innovative practices related to gender equality and social inclusion in education. It seeks to provide a platform for exploring both local realities and global perspectives, while promoting dialogue on policies, pedagogies, and collaborative strategies that advance inclusive and equitable education systems.

Professional Biography: Dr. Sonam Rinchen serves as the President of Samtse College of Education, providing strategic leadership and guiding the institution’s academic and administrative development. He holds a PhD in Science Education from the Queensland University of Technology, Australia, with a research focus on student emotions and the emotional climate of science classrooms.

Professional Biography: Dr. V. M. SasiKumar, Founder of the Council of Education Administration and Management (CEAM) and former Principal of Buddha College of Teacher Education, Kerala, is a distinguished leader in the field of educational administration. As the founding figure of CEAM, he has been instrumental in fostering professional networks and strategic collaborations, while actively organising local and international conferences that promote research.

Professional Biography: Dr. Jha has held several significant positions, including serving as a member of State-Level Committees in Sikkim for the implementation of the New Accounting Structure for Panchayati Raj Institutions (2009–2011), the preparation of manuals for Sikkim Urban Local Bodies (2012–2014), and the formulation of Sikkim Municipal (Financial) Rules (2013–2015). He was also a member of the State-Level Audit Advisory Board, Sikkim, and contributed to the development of Medical Facilities Rules for officers and staff of Sikkim (Central) University (2013–2014).
In addition, he served with distinction on the United Nations Panel of Auditors (2003–2004), where he was involved in auditing UN organisations. He has been awarded a Merit Certificate by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India for his work in Natural Resources Accounting. An accomplished academic, Dr. Jha has authored several books, including Social Audit: Promoting Good Governance in the Implementation of Rights-Based Employment Guarantee Laws, edited two volumes, published numerous articles in international journals, and presented papers at national-level seminars.
Dr. Jha has received several national-level awards and accolades, including the India Inspiration Award, Indian Pride Achiever Award, Inspiring Pillar of India Award, Golden Admirable Personalities Award, and the Adhunik Prasati Award, in recognition of his outstanding contributions and achievements in his field.
With his extensive and diverse experience, Dr. Jha has developed multidisciplinary expertise in strategic planning, implementation, accounting and auditing, administration, and programme evaluation, contributing significantly to the enhancement of governance in organisations.

Professional Biography: Kinley Seden is a faculty member in the Department of Arts and Humanities Education. She currently serves as the Dean of Research and Industrial Linkages (DRIL), where she is actively involved in fostering research collaborations, strengthening institutional partnerships, and promoting engagement with industry.
She holds a PhD from Masaryk University in the Czech Republic. Dr Seden is known for her dedication, enthusiasm, and strong commitment to advancing research and academic excellence.

Professional Biography: Dr Savita Mishra is the Principal of Nakshalbari College, a government-aided institution in Naxalbari, Darjeeling, West Bengal. She holds a PhD, MPhil, and MEd (University Medalist from the University of North Bengal), along with multiple master’s degrees in Education, Educational Planning and Administration, Zoology, Ecology and Environment, and Applied Biology, and has qualified UGC-NET and UGC-SLET in Education.
With over twenty-two years of experience in teaching and research, she serves as a National Mentor under the National Mission for Mentoring (NCTE) and as a Coordinator and Master Trainer with the Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. A prolific scholar, she has published over 250 research articles and authored or edited more than 150 books, supervised doctoral and postgraduate research, and contributed widely as a resource person in academic forums. Her work has earned her numerous national and international awards, and she is widely recognised as a global speaker and advocate for women’s empowerment, educational development, environmental sustainability, and social transformation.
