Dr. Kinley Seden
DRIL, Samtse College of Education
Qualifications: PhD in Education (Masaryk University, Czech Republic & Evtos Lorand University, Hungary, 2019)
Philosophy: My philosophy of teaching and learning is fundamentally rooted in the Cogen approach, which emphasizes collaborative dialogue and shared responsibility in the learning process. I believe that education should be a co-creative experience where students and educators work together to construct knowledge, foster critical thinking, and cultivate a sense of community. In addition to the Cogen approach, I embrace the Capability Approach, which emphasizes empowering students to realize their full potential and pursue their goals. This empowerment is essential for thriving in both academic and personal spheres.

Philosophy: Teaching is a lifelong process of learning. It provides an opportunity to learn new strategies, new ideas, and new philosophies. As a teacher it is important to create safe, caring community where student are free to express their views and grow to become a responsible citizens. The teacher is responsible for assisting each student to develop their own potential and learning styles. Every classroom has its own unique community and it is important to incorporate hands-on learning, cooperative learning, projects, and individual work that engage and activate students learning in order to cater to diverse needs of the learners.
